Accessibility statement
KEYSTONE. - Minerals Data Observatory
Last updated: 11 October 2026
1. Our commitment
KEYSTONE. wants its data and studies to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation or magnification. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, as our technical reference.
2. Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. The assessment was carried out in-house, with automated tests (axe-core and Lighthouse) on key pages in light and dark mode, and a limited manual check (keyboard navigation, zoom and heading structure). No independent audit has been carried out.
3. What we already do
- Sufficient colour contrast for text, in light and dark mode.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator and a link to skip to the main content.
- Sign-up and sign-in forms in the language of the page and with the purpose of each field identified.
- Heading structure and landmark regions (header, navigation, main content, footer) on every page.
4. Known limitations
- Dashboards. The interactive charts and maps in the dashboards mostly do not have a complete text alternative. The data behind them can be exported to Excel on the plans that include that feature.
- PDF publications. The PDFs of our studies and outlooks are not tagged for assistive technologies and may not be fully accessible.
- Third-party components. The sign-up and sign-in forms (Clerk) and payment (Stripe) are provided by third parties; we do not fully control their accessibility.
5. Request an alternative format or report a problem
If you cannot access some content, write to hello@keystone-observatory.com, telling us the page and the difficulty. For example, we can send the data behind a chart as a table. We review every request and look for a solution.
